Default 2021-202x Lowering Thread

So I finally saw a 2021 on a dealer lot that actually made me second guess my commitment to keeping my 2019 long term. It looked sharp and I could envision it looking real sharp dropped 2/4. So that led me to the Google to see if any of the big lowering kit companies had info on when they would release lowering kits for the new body style. To my surprise, I saw the Maxtrac kits were listed as 2015-2021. I find it difficult to believe those components carry over, but maybe. I'm going to reach out to Maxtrac and confirm. It's got me thinking now...

With this said, I would like for this thread to be for people to post pics of their dropped 2021's and newer that way we have a dedicated thread to browse. I'm excited for this.

Update to the Maxtrac kit for the 21’s. They said it was an error on their end and that they cannot confirm any of the parts carry over. Once they get their hands on one, it’ll be 1-3 months before they release kits for the ‘21, assuming they are similar in design as the 15-20’s. If totally different, it’ll be around 6-9 months. I can’t imagine the parts will differ much, so hopefully we’ll be seeing some dropped ones soon!

I'm hoping Ground Force does another 1.5/2.5 inch kit for Ford Performance on the 21s.

I'm sure they will. The leaf springs are quite a bit different. There was a 21 on my local lot and i'm pretty sure the leaf springs only had two leafs. The main leaf looked normal, but the second shorter one was super thick. Be curious to see how much re-working it'll take on behalf of the after market suspension companies.

Ground Force just emailed me back "No plans at this time." Little bit of a bummer.

You’ll be able to easily piece together that kit if you wanted. Drop shackles and coil springs and you’re there.

I'm hitchhiking on this, but could the thickness be attributed to the max GCW of the truck?

Well, VAS is the first team to show up for the game. The rear shocks are interesting to me. They don’t seem to have much compression travel distance before bottoming out. Truck looks good though.

I have seen several on YouTube, so the current parts must work with a little tweaking.

Default Anticipation, disappointment, anticipation.

Hey guys,
So I placed an order for a RCSB Space white XLT about a month ago and immediately started looking for upgrades, especially lowering kits. So I called Beltech and asked how long it would take for the 2021 lowering kits to become available. The person on the phone said that they received the 2021 f150 the day before and that they should be complete in about 1 month. So I started a mental timer and began to wait for my truck and drop kit. After 3weeks I couldn't wait anymore so I called back to find out how close to completion the team was getting. I am very disappointed to say that the person who answered the phone this time had completely different information. This time, the Beltech representative said that I should not expect the kits to be available until the end of the year. I am so disappointed! I can't ride high, I just can't do it.
