Default 2/4 Belltech drop causing slight vibration

Similar to some others, I am getting a slight vibration around 15-25 (sometimes as high as 35), this started happening after the drop was installed on my 18 F-150 screw 4x4. I know I read about the bigger shims, but what size are most people having the best luck with? 4mm, and 6mm have been the most common I have seen mentioned. Mine is a 6.5’ bed so I would imagine that will play a role in the decision.

I feel like the vibration gets worse when I start to put some power down, prob from some spring wrap. I do have some vas bars to install once I get the vibration issue resolved.

I have nothing to offer on the vibe issue but, I was curious as to what size tire you’re running. If you don’t mind, could you post a good side shot of the truck?

I am planning a possible 2” shackle drop OR a complete 2/4 drop if I can convince the wife......yeah, it’s my truck but, I’d rather not have her pissed at me for,”spending money on stupid sh|t” as she would say. She is already going to be pissed when she sees me installing sound deadened and new speakers......

I here a lot about a low speed vibe I would think that if you feel it slow it just speeds up to the point you can't feel it but it's still there at high speed I don't think it just disappears

Did you verify the pinion angle before and after the drop? You should be with in 1* +/- the factory spec.

If you didn't I'm sure someone with same truck could tell you the stock pinion angle

I might have an idea. I have a 13' fx4 crew cab with the 6.5' bed and had the same problem. On my particular model, I removed the factory bracket that connects the drive shaft to the frame at the transfer case. I then drilled two holes into the crossmember and mounted the bracket directly to the crossmember. While doing this didn't completely solve the problem, it took approx. 95% of the vibration out. In stock form though this truck has always had a vibration since I bought it new off the lot. This particular model (2013 w/ 157" wb) were prone to vibrations apparently from what I've read. I'm sure you have a two piece drive shaft. FWIW, my truck vibrated when it was at 2/3 as well at 4/6. I'm now back with +2 leveling kit and I hate it! It rode/drove so much better when it was lowered! I want to lower it again, but I would like to have a newer generation F150 before I spend any more money on this one. Good luck getting it smooth again.

thank you. I think I may pull the shims, and see if that helps or makes it worse.
