'99 2WD XLT Extended Cab w/Bed Cover Great Condition
High miles but ready for another 100K! 1999 Ford F150 XLT extended cab for sale. Has 4.6l Triton V8, 2WD. Runs fantastic, like a truck with far fewer miles. I've owned it since December 2013 and it's never let me down.
Always well maintained, have records from my ownership (I do all my own vehicle work). Many parts recently replaced like plugs, fuel injectors, ignition coils, etc.
Has the 3.08 rear axle so it touches 20 mpg on the highway.
Comes with a Pendaliner bed liner and Lund velcro roll-up bed cover in great shape.
Has oversize tires (235/70-16) for improved looks and gas mileage.
Power driver's seat, windows, door locks, mirrors. Remote keyless locking (keyfob). Cold A/C. AM/FM cassette with tape adapter. Everything works!
Cons:
- 262,500 highway miles.
- A few minor dings and scratches. It's a truck!
- Small (1.5") tear in the side of the driver's seat bottom.
- Worn but perfectly intact steering wheel.
- Tires could stand to be replaced in the next year or so.
- Odometer backlight intermittent (very common F150 problem). I soldered the circuit board a few years ago but it's started dimming again. Odo works fine; it's just sometimes you have to tap on the cluster to get it to illuminate.
Asking $3,000. Located in Chattanooga, TN. Come see it! Ready for summer projects!
Thanks!
