Default Yet ANOTHER Tire Question

Alright guys, as I have said before, I have a 2WD 1998 f150, with the 4.2, and 3.55 gearing....I am getting a 2 inch front leveling kit from daystar, and I want to know what tire size I should get..... I would like to get 32's, however, I don't know if that would look to big in my fender wells, and if it would rob some power from my truck, so please let me know, 31's vs 32's...
ALSO, what size width tire would you recommend with no rubbing? I WAS thinking of 12.50, however, I think that might rub a little...So 12.50, or 10.50...(Or any other recommendations?)
And last, but certainly not least, what size, and width wheel would you recommend?
Thanks guys, and I apologize for asking so many of the same type questions, but due to the fact that I will be ordering my wheels, and tires online, I want to be EXTRA sure!

37's and re gear haha

i would go with 33's if you plan on re gearing ever... tires ainch cheap and if u plan on re gearing in a month or two just live with the dog till then.. but if not get 32's they dont make a super big difference anyway i run my 5.4 3.55LS with 35's grant it i have a 5.4 and its not a dog.. i have 33's on it when i got it and it didnt act much different in my mind

so 32's vs 33's in my mind wouldnt be a big deal i would just live with the difference and but some 4.10's

not sure what tire your truck came with from the factory but mine came with 265/70/17's and that is a 31.6 get some 285/70/17 (or your rim size accordingly) which is a 32.7 and i dont think you should have any problems

sorry if i kept going on haha

i know i am a 4x4 but this is for refence 315/70/17's in a factory height rear wheel well

here is 285/70/17's on a factory height rear 4x4

hope it helps

4.2 and 3.55's will be a dog with large tires. Don't go larger than 265/75/16 or 265/70/17. For 1, it'll strain your transmission and 2, you will lose MPG and a bit of 'get up and go'.

I don't even think I would go that that big. Maybe a 245. As far as fender filling, anything from a 245/75/16 to a 305/75/16 would look fine. The wider and larger you go, the more force it takes to get them rolling and keep rolling...it's hard on all drive-line components.

I would say 265/75/16 is fine. I've got that on my truck. 4.2L 3:55 rear 2wd no level or lift. Runs fine and still has the get up and go to it. I thought of goin to 285 with a level kit but once looking more into like stated above hard on tranny and will take any get up and go an leave ya like a snail lol. 265 fills the wheels wells nicely. Just right. Original the truck came with 255/70/16. Even has it on door sticker.
