Default yet another thing to fix........

Was under my truck changing the oil when I noticed the top half of the drivers side end link is completely broke off. How does this happen and is it common? Can I buy 1 or have to buy both? Don't understand as this truck has only seen blacktop.

Also noticed it looked like water bubbling from the front passenger side intake port. It wasn't antifreeze or oil so I'm not to worried but still. 98 4.6W

Yea those endlinks are essentially long bolts with plastic dampers to hold the swaybar in place. You can get all the pieces from Ford to fix yours... or you can go to Autozone and spend $15 on a universal endlink kit which works just as well.

I run 4" or 5" endlinks on my truck... here's a pic showing them. The suspension is at full droop FYI

Thank you. Did yours break or was it necessary for the drop? Mine is 4x4, will it make a difference?

I don't think 4x4 makes a difference.. And my stockers were worn out and rattling
