The hole is an oval but the lights are more rectangular. I have a 2001 f150 with the same bumper. The light that comes out is more of a square shape.

the light housing sits behind the opening, so it is a different shape. Did you try bolting them in or just saw the shape was different?
The shape of the fogs you have is about the shape of OEM fogs.
When you get them installed post back how they look and how the light is. I have not heard good about them, but I also have not seen a lot about them either.

I have not tried installing them yet. I will this week...As far as the light output, I am unaware. Will post photos after the install later this week. I did not see any literature describing the output "lumens".
