YESSSSSSSSS!! It Worked!
The old bench was really comfortable for a bench, but these! Oh yeah way better. They are comfy just like the straight bench but you can adjust the driver seat a bazillion ways. I had no clue the seat would raise up and tilt! Very cool bonus. Anyway its 2am I've taken it on its first voyage with the new captains seats to the dump to drop off trash and it was so nice. Down the road I'll get them reupholstered as they are not the prettiest, but right now I love 'em!
Ok here some pics & a quick run down of what I did.
1 Gut cabin of seats
2 Clean cabin with simple green
3 Look at wiring harness and go cross eyed
4 Realize plugs in donor truck harness no worky
5 Read up on it, figure out I just need a ground (black) and a power (green)
6 Spend and hour unwrapping a large section of the harness and getting those wires from it with the square seat power plug intact
7 Say a prayer and cut Red and White wire off of Black plug connection
8 Say another prayer and cut green wire off plug under the glove box wire junction spagetti mess and then connect black to the ground right next to that mess and green to green that I just cut.
9 stick seat in truck and test it (after another prayer) and IT WORKED!!
10 spend another two hours cleaning up the wiring, cutting holes in the vinyl for the additional two seat mounts and two seat belt connections (jump seat), and mounting seats, and extending the passenger side Airbag pretensioner connection yellow plugs.
11 reinstall plastic molding stuff
12 Smile like a school boy because it worked!
Side Notes:
* The 'new' holes for the seat mounts and seat belts do not have threads in them yet. The bolt will cut threads into the thick doughnut like washers under the body. At first I thought something was wrong but it was the only option and it worked. Not sure if that is normal or what but you couldn't see any threads before and now you can see threads... soo??
* No I didn't leave the wire nut on the green power wire, that was just for testing purposes. I took it off and crimped a heat shrink connection properly and wrapped in electrical tape.
Any questions?

I got the 60/40 because I didn't want to lose the extra passenger seat. You can swap in expedition seats if you want two captains.
