You should look for a Pull-A-Part or Pick-A-Part in your area.
They usually have F150's in good shape, you can look at it before you buy, and their prices are really low.
So far at Pull-A-Part I have saved $400.00 on engine and body parts on a car I am restoring, and the parts are basically as good as new.
