wont start... sometimes
99 f150 4.6 auto 2wd 276k
so a couple weeks ago my dad drove the 99 up to the store came back to the truck and it would not start just turn over really fast. called me and it started while we was on the phone. could not duplicate problem. last week i was driving the truck and it just stalled. put it in neutral turned over really fast again. came to a stop and tried again started up. this morning same problem went to leave and would not start. poped the hood and jumped the solenoid fired right up cannot duplicate. i wish i could duplicate it and try to trouble shoot it. 276k miles on original fuel pump i think its days are numbered. also the truck runs smooth.
have not checked fuel pressure.
cant find my code reader. (just moved)
if anyone has some sugestions on what else to check any help is appreciated. i need to keep this truck dependable i dont want it to breakdown on one of us.
