wont start

Default wont start

i have a 2002 f-150 5.4 v8 . it has hit a stage it will start today not tomorrow. it will start today not tonight. its not fuel pump just put new one in. its getting spark sometimes and sometimes not. plugs are new to so whats the problem

battery posts, check em and clean em. make sure your battery is fully charged (12.6 volts) as well.

battery is new and all that is clean. its like something is shutting dwn the spark

connections at the battery may be clean but are the ground connections on the engine block or wherever they are tight and clean?

good it cranks hard just wont get a spark to any plugs its odd

sounds like you should check ground at the coil pack connectors...

and after you clean those battery posts, spray them with fluid film, it'll help keep the corrosion from forming so fast.
