Default Wiring Harness

Hello all. Just purchased a used 2000 F150 and need some help. The main wiring assembly is shot and Ford in their infinite wisdom discontinued the part. The part # is YL3Z14401CA. It is a 2000 f150 4x2 supercab, V6, manual trans. Thanks YL3Z14401CAWIR ASY-MN YL3Z14401CAWIR ASY-MN YL3Z14401CAWIR ASY-MN

You can be thankfull ford does'nt have any because I'm sure they wanted way to much. I'd check the local yards for one and pull it yourself or check these guys for one. http://www.car-part.com/help.htm

I'm located in West TN and have contacted several salvage yards with no luck. My local Ford mechanic says he might be able to splice and jumper the three or four wires on the harness that have gone bad so might just try that. Only things not working are the A/C-defroster, heater-but the blower will run, back up lights, and cruise control.

Well if he says he can fix with a splice go for it even if a temp fix untile you can find a donor truck. keep watching Craigslist in your area for ppl parting out trucks and there are junks yards every were. depending on how bad you want the harness you may try some 100+ miles away i know its a drive but iv had to do it myself a time or two.
