Default Wires through fire wall

I am wanting to install lights on my truck once my bull bar comes in and was wonder where is the hole in the fire wall where I can run wires through? Sorry never done this before and this maybe a stupid question but I don't want to drill a hole if I don't have to.- 01 super crew 5.4 thanks pics would be even more helpful

Just look down the firewall by the steering console. Use a preexisting gromet with something already going through. Get a clothes hanger or metal rod, sharpen to a point then black tape your wires to it about halfway on the rod. Shove it through then go by the pedals and find where it's poking out and pull it the rest of the way.

look under your dashboard driver side, right above the steering column, there should be a rubber gasket.

If you look at the brake booster about 6 inches left in the 8 oclock position I remember there being a grommet for a clutch master cylinder that literally runs right into plane sight. I've used it for all of my mods. Just poke a hole and you should be able to see the wire easily by looking under dash.

Yes, it is a rubber grommet that will seal around the wire (so long as you don't make too big a hole). You can put some silicone around it when done if you want to make sure it seals.

I just took a small nail and poked a hole through it then pushed the wire through.
As others have said, you can use a hanger also so you can see where it come in on the inside too.

You can also pull the entire grommet out and do it that way if you want.
