I posted once on here about my problem and got a couple of tips but still nothing. I have a 97 F150 extended cab, 4.2 V6.
The wipers, dome light and chime, (the one that tells you the lights are still on) quit working, sometimes.
I spent four hours today going over connections and couldn't find any problems.

Sounds obvious but did you check fuses? Also try spraying lithium grease on all your connections that helps sometimes.

 

Does your windshield leak? There have been some that have leaked onto the GEM module.

 

I have been through the fuses, didn't think about the lithium grease though. As far as the GEM, I'm not even sure where it is.
