Default Windsheild washer?

Hi Guys,
I cant seem to get my washer to work consistently. I replaced the pump and made sure the lines are clear but I have to hold in the switch for a while before it will start to spray. any ideas? Bad switch?

Check the hose for leak. Try feeding it with hot water to dissolve the sediment inside the hose

Probably a very small hole in hose close to the pump. Small enough to let the hose empty its fluid when not used and pump has to reprime hose everytime.

I don't think its leaking. Not a drop on the ground and the fluid level don't go down. Weird.

Mines the same way. You press the button in and it takes a second before it starts squirting. Funny thing, girls are similar. Lol jk. Mine also doesn't spray out a fan stream. It sprays a solid stream straight out. I think the spray nozzles on my hood are just old and worn though.
