hello i have a 1997 f150 ext cab and my passenger door window is stopping half way through, and it goes really slow. but when i grab the window and push it twards the back of the truck it goes at normal speed. does anyone else have this problem?? lift motor replacement?

 

has it always been like that or did it happen recently. i found out when i installed my lock actuator that my right side window guide/weather strip was installled incorrectly.

 

you can try to take the door panel off and lubricate the window regulator track with white lithium grease (found in the auto parts store) and you could also spray the weatherstrip with some silicone spray.

If the weatherstrip is dried out this would also slow the window down putting strain on the window motor.
