Default Window Switch/ Window Tint

Going to go get my windows tinted but I can't roll it down right now. The shop says it's not a problem as they can just cut around it but I don't want it to be an issue. I've read on here it's probably the switch. I've also read on here people put the new switches in and it's not the problem. Mine is moody at times. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've taken it apart and cleaned the contacts with sandpaper and emory boards and it doesn't seem to help with the behavior. How can I be certain it is the switch?

A friend of mine got tint and his windows would bog down rolling them up and down. Is this an issue to live with or something wrong with his motors?

I doubt the tint affects the performance of the motor. I have tint on mine and see no problems. Your motor might be going out. I had to replace the passenger side motor last year when it finally quit. Before it died it acted up, slow movement, etc.

Think I'd worry about fixing the window problem before I got the windows tinted.
