Window switch pigtail plug
I have tried to Search this but no luck. So here is my first post.
'99 F150 XLT I replaced the driver's side passenger window switch with one from the junk yard. Works great but operates in the opposite direction of the original. I want both switches to operate as original.
It appears I should be able to swap two wires in the pigtail to do this.
How do I release the female connectors in the pigtail? Mine has a red plastic pullout part in the center and I thought that might be a locking plug but was afraid to pull it without knowing what I might be getting into. And what two wires should be moved(I think the two that are appx the same color and gage)?
