Hello, 1999 F150 XLT extracab, 2wd, auto, 4.6L, electric windows and door locks -- my passenger window does not operate with the control on the drivers door, it did until today. The window will go up and down with the control on the passenger door, but not with the control on the drivers door. When I toggle the switch on the drivers door, I do hear a faint click in the passenger door. The drivers window works as it should. I haven't done any new work on it lately,. Door locks and mirrors operate as expected. Any Ideas? thanks.

 

Sounds like a switch. Pull it out and jump the terminals

 

I've been too busy with work, but I did notice if I rolled down the passenger window half way with the passenger switch, then tried the drivers switch -- the window would roll up, but not down. I have a switch on order. $100 at O'Reillys, but went Amazon for a Dorman replacement $56.
