Default Will these fit?

I have a 2003 Screw FX4. The stock FX4 wheels are 17x7.5 with a 14 mm offset. I'm thinking of getting 17" X 8.5" VISION 375 WARRIOR wheels. This wheel has an 18 mm offset, or a 5.43 inch backspace. According to the rim offset calculator, I lose 16.7 mm of clearance on the back side between the rim and suspension. Most wheels I'm seeing online claiming to fit our generation trucks have a -12 offset. Does anyone know if I can run these rims without rubbing on the back side?

My truck has been leveled using the torsion bars. Right now I have 265/70 17 tires, but the plan is to go up to a 305/70 17 once these tires are goners. I can't find these rims in a -12 offset. Also, has anyone had any experience with these wheels? How well do they handle the magnesium chloride that they use on the roads around here during the winter? I know the stuff strips chrome plating, but these are just polished. Will they pit or corrode?

Yes they will corrode. You will probably rub the control arms with the wheels. And you might rub the frame with a 305 on there.

yes. you may have to trim the lower valance slightly as a 305/70r17 is slightly larger than a 34" tire

They're in good shape. Minor scratches on the spokes. No cracks or scrapes anywhere on the beads. They will come with all center caps and lug nuts. Do you want the tires too? 265x70 17 Cooper Discoverer H/T tires with 50-60% of the tread remaining.
