I've got a 2000 F150 , every time I wash my truck and park it and turn it off, my driving lights stay on. But today after washing it , I parked it turned it off and now the alarm keeps chirping and the truck is trying to start. I disconnected the battery to stop it , when I hook up the battery I hear a weird sound coming from this big black box( there is a lot of wires going to this box) that's behind and to the right of the battery.Does anyone have any idea what's going on.I know something is getting wet , but i just don't know what is getting wet to cause this to happen. I'm new to the site and wish I could just join and enjoy the site and not ask for help right from the get go.

 

sounds like ur relays are getting wet... we had a truck at work that was turning the lights on and off when ever they wanted to we chased it to the relays behind the glove box..... thye got wet and were shorting out...
