Default Wierd sound

Whenever I cold start the truck and get going down the road, there is a wierd metallic/bubbling kinda noise during acceleration. Thats the only way I can describe the sound. Kinda sounds like metal on metal with bubbling for some reason. The sound goes away completely after driving for like 30 mins.

Is it kinda like a tick, or a clunk? My truck does the same thing until it warms up.

After you shut the truck off it hisses pretty loud, but I've never payed no mind to that. And I just got done driving and I drove with ac and radio off so I could hear it better and during slow, steady acceleration it sounds like metal sliding against metal, and during fast acceleration it sounds more like a metallic clicking/ticking sound

So even when the A/C is off, it hisses? Might be a vacuum line for that problem, the ticking, to me its just a part of my truck, idk how loud it is for you though. With the windows rolled up, can you easily hear the ticking? Or do you have to focus on hearing it?

No I can still hear it over my straight pipes and tire whine with the windows up sometimes. Usually its only real bad in the mornings after the trucks been sitting and coolin all night. Like I said though, usually after a little driving and warming the engine up, it gets quieter. I can hear the ticking pretty loudly when infront of the trucks idling in the driveway. It seems to be coming from the drivers side, I cant tell if its an exhaust leak that I just cant see ( all my manifold studs are rusted to hell and I think 1 may be broken still) or if its inside the head.

Possibly bad chain tensioner? I had that problem on my old Sporttrac, different engine I know, but had the same symptoms.

How is your oil level? Was it low at any point? My truck ran 3 quarts low on oil, and it still is ticking. It gets quieter after time. On a cold start for me it is a bit louder.
