Where's the noise coming from? Maybe u-joints or something with the brakes.

its hard to say. i want to say back of truck but sometimes it sounds like front also. the u joints were done about 40k miles ago.

im thinkn of bringing it to the local shop and see if they can figure out what it is.

Im thinking u joints too. Id also check difs. And if its coming from the front maybe cv joint/ half shafts. Just keep in mind noises travel thru metal so u may think its front when its actually mid or rear

Went through this with my Jeep this weekend. Could have sworn the noise was coming from the front. Tore both fronts down, inspected and re-packed bearings, checked u-joints in the axles, pulled front drive shaft and checked u-joints, every thing looked fine.
Drove about a mile down the road and the right rear bearing blew apart.
