I have a 1997 F150 and a problem. The A/C blower motor will occasionally NOT turn off. It has only happened three or four times in the last month. I put a new resistor in hoping that was it but this has occurred once after that. Even after I shut off the engine and remove the keys, the motor will continue to blow. During the episodes the fan blows at high even if I turn the switch to low. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any info

 

I suspect your heater control has failed-shorted to power.

 

Thanks for the reply. Is this a complicated fix? Also, what about a bad relay? Had a guy suggest that could be the problem.
