where is PCM?
My 02 4.2 V-6 its mounted in the firewall near the heater hoses. A large connector some 100+ wires. Remove two attaching screws, pull into engine compartment and there you are. Older vehicles had it in the RH or passenger kick panel, again look for that large wire bundle.
The PCM (powertrain control module) is the computor and controls the engine electrical components.
Just verified the location, it between the battery and firewall, RH side of engine compartment.
