Where to get door code
Are you talking remote keyless entry code or the keypad on the door?? If you are talking keypad code you can find it on the central security module label ( on the module) if you look over the pedals to the left tucked way up in its a black module about 5"x8" should have two plugs. On the label you will see you're 5 digit code. other than that have to use a ford scan tool to retrieve it. On you're rke ( remote keyless entry) if you cycle you're key 7 times the door locks should lock/ unlock , thats confirmation that its in program mode . Then you push a button on you're fob to program it, or you can simply do it to verify you do have it. If its a lariat I'm sure it does

For the RKE, I found the RAP module, and found the 5 digit factory code, but it still does not unlock the truck? Pressing the right two keys DOES lock the truck, so that part works, but no response when entering the 5 digit factory code. Any ideas?
LATE UPDATE!!! Just figured out that one of the buttons on my RKE is flakey. So it wasn't recognizing one of the numbers as I pressed the factory code. Using the programming instructions, I added my own code which does NOT use the flakey key, and it works just fine! Problem solved.
