Does anyone know where I could order this remote?
I just bought a 1998 F150 reg cab, v6, 2wd.
The dealership wanted 74.99 plus 1.5hr of programming which will be around $200.

you can get one off ebay, but you still gonna need it programed.

 

they include instructions on how to program it when you buy it off ebay. From what I hear it is really easy. Not sure why the dealership would take 1.5 hours doing it.

I found a used one on ebay for $12. Once I get it I will follow badcat's programming instructions to see if it would work.

I've tried this out and it seem to work. The only thing is it didn't chirp 3 times. It just made a long beep. I didn't have a spare remote to see if it would work.
