Default Where to dump exhaust

My exhaust hanger broke and I decided while getting it fixed I will move my exhaust from a side exit to dumping it in the rear for the clean no pipes look. Also to help quiet the cab on the highway. My question is where is the best place to dump to exhaust on our trucks to eliminate cab noise

Out the rear if you want to eliminate noise. I myself am going to be doing something different. I'm going to going with a rear mounted muffler. If you can get the muffler as far away from the cab it will also help eliminate drone to.

right before the axle or up and over it with the muffler far back as possible
