just a quick ?? How many miles do you put on before you change your plugs??

I just changed mine. I think they may have been the originals with 100,000miles.
Some of them were so worn they had over 80 thousandths gap.

If you are unsure how old they are, pull one of the front,easy to get to ones, and see what you are working with.

When the engine runs bad. The change interval is 100,000 miles, but I've seen the factory ones go longer than that.

when you have changed them did you put motorcraft plugs or some other brand? what plugs do you prefer?

I used Autolite Platinums. Autolite makes the motorcraft plugs, so same thing.

I just got done changing mine litterally. Used Autolight premiums. Truck has 84,000 on it. Started haveing misfire problems so replaced all plugs and coils. Runs great now.
