Default When to change out the plugs?

I bought my truck recently and have a question about the spark plugs. I don't have a manual for it so I was wondering what is the mileage between tune ups? It is a 97 Lariat w/ 4.6L. I appreciate the feedback.

Default from the body shop..........

the triton v-8 is not supposed to require a plug change untill 100k, ( according to ford ). i suppose this is a good engineering characteristic in the development and advancement of modern technology. however, from a millitary standpoint, ( read: tactical reliability ), 30k has always been a benchmark for a change out. consider the cost of a set of double platnum plugs, ( about 38.00 ), and the realization that you're getting the best performance for your dollar in gas and possibly avoiding any future repairs is a viable consideration.
get the manual.......haines or chilton, ( about 24 bucks ) all the schedules are in them.
personally, i change oil every 3k,,,,,plugs every 30k,,,,,,,brake, trans and rear every 40k. ( washer fluid as needed, lol ).
