Default Wheel speed sensor wiring

I bought some new front hubs for my 2000 f150 XLT 4x4 that have different plugs to the previous version and different coloured wires for the wheel speed sensors. The truck has black/brown and the new sensors have black/white. Do I do the logical (in my brain) thing and go black to black and white to brown?

Probably doesn't matter since the pulses are only used for counting but why would the plug be different if it's the correct part? Are you planning to cut and splice?

Yeah I thought it wouldn't matter. I don't understand why the wires are different colours or the plugs different too. It might have something to do with it being here in Australia. The hub all fits up perfectly otherwise. I'll just cut'n'shut it with some good quality waterproof connectors.
Thanks
