Default Wheel Spacers and Leveling

2003 FX4: I want to level the front and was thinking on adding some spacers on all four wheels.
I know I will need to have an alignment after the leveling, and from what I understand, I don't need to purchase any items to level the front, that it can be done with the stock suspension. Is this correct? I think a front lift of 2-2.5 inches would be sufficient. Thoughts??
As for the spacers, I would probably only go with 1.5" just to not put too much load on the front end parts of my truck. Is there anything I need to know, any recommendations for the leveling and the spacers?
What should I be considering before I do any of this?

Any and All help is greatly appreciated!

Crank the stock torsion bars to make it level. It will cause no harm just to level it that way. Measure how much u need to go up to be even with the back and then go get an alignment.
