Default wheel bearings?

1998 ford f150 4.6 4X4

My truck has a squeeking noise whenever i hit any small bump or push down on the hood or turn my wheel...i jacked my truck up and the tire has no play and my truck drives straight so i thought it may not be the wheel bearing causing this, but the bcaa inspecter said i needed them when i bought the truck...i also sprayed all the bushings and ball joints with wd40 and the steering was much more loose....any help would be great i dnt wana pay a diagnostic fee....does anyone know what this is....Thank you

Squeaks can be a headache, from what you say, pushing down on hood or turning wheel, I don't think wheel bearings are your problem as they are not rotating. Look more toward suspension, ball joints, shocks or trailing arms, things that are actually flexing. WD-40 is a band-aid, not a cure, need to try to isolate the noise. Suggest having an assistant duplicate the noise while you listen with a rubber hose at every thing that is mooving.

sqeaks alot from my front its the rubber bushings were the front independt suspension meets the frame they dry up and makes noises exactly like wat ur describing. if it was ur front wheel bearings then it would make noise only when in forward or reverse motion. iv had too replace both my wheel bearings after 220,000 miles. wheel bearings sound more like a growl

my squeak turned out to be a lower ball joint that was cracked on the top couldn't see it at first, then put some oil on it and it quit for a short time. I replaced all 4 as soon as I could. Also just replaced the rider side wheel bearing Sunday 210,000 miles, driver side lasted to 145,000.
