Default Wheel bearing?

How do I tell if a wheel bearing is going out? Front end is making a real light grinding noise and when I slow to about 5 mph it makes a noise that kind of sounds like a rock in my tire. Help please

If you offroad at all a rock very may well be causing thenoise. They like to get jammed between the inside of the wheel and the dust shield for the brakes. If thats not the case, lift the side the noise is coming from and try to wiggle the tire. If it moves at all, its a good chance its the wheel bearing.

When you pull the tire off again tonight see if you can wiggle the bearing. Even if its slight, that is probably what you hear.
