Post Wheel backspacing / offset????

Okay,

So I ready to buy a set of Dish style wheels. Cragar or keyston procomp etc.

My question is my truck is a 2x4 but it is lifted (sits like a 4x4 or better), and has 265's. In order to make it look right (not having the wheels sucked in or stuck out 1/2 mile) what offset or back spacing do I need to have?

I read alot but seems confusing.

Thanks

4.5 to 5 inches of backspace is the most popular from what i have seen and thats usually a 8 or 9 inch wide rim

Whatever you do, please stay away from those frickin 'wheel spacer' things. My "Know-It-All' neighbor installed a set of 1 3/4"(?) spacers on his '88 Bronco......and fried a front wheel bearing in less than 120 miles. I'm honestly amazed that those things are still even being sold.........

i agree with ricky, dont use spacers, if you truly have to use them for fitment, use the absolute smallest one possible.
