I need some help with tire sizes. I have been looking at getting a 305-70-17 tire, but the problem is i dont know what size in inches that is? Is it a 34? I have also read that a 285-70-17 is the same size, but that cant be right? Please help.

 

305 is a 34inch roughly and 285 is a 33

np man if u want exact sizes... google tire size calculator and its gives u exact...

if you go to discounttire.com, they have a calculator on there that will tell you width, height, everything. it will also let you put in your stock size and tell you the differences including speed

 

I just put some 305/70/17 Nittos on my truck. Looks alot better

 

Did you have to trim any for those?
