I Have a 98 f150 with the 5.4 and I'm tired of hearing my manifolds leaking so I'm gonna get it fixed at my work and was wondering what headers y'all have and if they are worth it I mean I know it ain't gonna be a major gain but is it worth it in your opinion

Shortys won't give you much if any performance benefits but longtubes can with a good tune to go with them, The only decent longtubes made for our trucks are by OBX and pacesetter I believe

Will they work on a 4x4 and I'd have to totally redo the rest of my exhaust for them

That depends on what configuration your current exhaust system is, a good muffler shop can adapt your exhaust system to a set of headers as long as there is enough good pipe to work with. Like you said, without other mods headers will not help your performance very much.

Ya you would need somebody with a pipe bender to custom bend an exhaust system for you after the headers. And a good intake and tuner will really compliment the headers for performance
