I do as well, without a problem, I've had a cam on the truck for years but don't use it to back down the ramps... I use it to make sure someone didn't park under my bumper in a Honda in the dark again instead of doing a walk around... backing up the boat was the least of my concerns, it was getting in and out and worrying about where I can go with the truck as our lift laws allow 4" and I was rolling around on 12" with no inspection sticker... I plow in the winter, in dumps with no rearview or holes in the cab protector, believe me, I can use my mirrors, but they don't help much to check your boat while going straight down the road and you can't see it in the rearview or past a set of 40s that are hanging out... I can now see it in my rearview before I could've lost the motor off the back and had no clue haha unlikely but you know what I mean...

How did you manage to make all of the sensors work after the swap? I am really liking this idea of an sas on 35s.
Thanks!
No sensors, just delete abs and pull the bulb... I've always hated abs anyway, I'd rather feather the brake if needed in an emergency, snow, panic, etc... than have the truck throw the brake pedal back at me...

I always thought the rear speed sensor on the diff was to make the trans shift properly and speedometer read ?

That's how the 9th gen trucks work. So assumed 10th gens were the same

Nope. 4wd truck have a VSS in the transfer case. I had mine unplugged for a long time when I forgot to install the sensor ring on the Truetrac when I first put it in..

The newer truck the PCM actually get the vehicle speed from the VSS. The pcm in the 97-98's get it from the ABS first so it will drive a 97-98 truck nuts.

Thank you! I've been enjoying it, not that I didn't before but there's no worries with height laws and my daughter can get in by herself now, my girl and I can get in easier and I can see my boat behind the truck amongst other positive things... great all around...
