Default What would you do?

Side mirror broken off, 3 bolts broke in half, any recommendations? Checked local scrap yard, only have a maroon coloured match or I can buy new black mirrors for 100$, what would you do? Getting paint buffed out minor damage on side of truck.

the plastic that is painted can be removed and put on the new mirror

I prefer OEM over aftermarket

Good Luck

Is it difficult to remove, if it's not I'll go grab the maroon coloured mirror pop that off and put on the red, thanks Ron

If you try and pull off the mirror cover from the outside you will break the attachment tabs. You have to go in around the mirror with a long thin screwdriver or something and lift the tabs up off of their attachment points.

I actually bought a set of aftermarkets when my left mirror wasn't acting quiet right. Turned out to be a bad switch after all. The aftermarket jobs won't angle properly. All the way in on the passenger side won't even let me see down the side of the truck. I will be putting my oem ones back on shortly.

You gotta believe me.... I tried. A little pressure and a lot of pressure. Doesn't seem to make a difference. Probably the fact that I paid $35 for the pair may have something to do with it.
