I need to rebuild my transmission for my 2002 4.6L Windsor it has a 4r70w Transmission. I’ve seen all different brands of rebuild kits on these websites
Rockauto.com. Summit Racing. Autozone. Jegs
and they all range greatly in price and I wonder if anyone has done their own rebuild or knows of one if they could help me sort this out. There are practically no reviews on the things.
I’d prefer a stock set up or an improvement on stock. I wouldn’t mind if it was even used in a Mustang. I mean I would think the mustang guys need a strong transmission.

So it seems no one knows what kit i need to get so I ordered a book in Amazon
So i read theough the book and it makes a mention to a rebuild kit on summit racing. $442 Dollars. It says it will make a man out of the 4R70W transmission https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tci-438960

i was gonna get a kit that cam with frictions and steels.
