tire pressure? lots of wind? stuck caliper? alot of things can contribute in it's own way. especially the wind.

pretty sure at least some of the problem was a dirty MAF. i thought i might of over-oiled my K&N recently, and judging by the looks of my throttle body i did. cleaned the MAF and throttle body, ended up having to take the whole throttle body off(long story) so i also cleaned the IAC. while disconnecting tubes going to the throttle body i found a vacuum line that was bent and hardened to the point it was completely blocked off. it also had holes in it. replaced that as well. trucks running a lot better now, although it does act different accelerating before it has warmed up all the way.

also, i noticed deep down on top of the block, there are pieces of broken, smooth plastic. they are oily and brittle from the heat. they look like theyve been sitting there for a long time. what could they be from?

I had small rocks on top of my lower intake when I did my head gaskets.. Things make their way up there somehow.. Could be from anywhere, even something ran over on the road.
