I have 97 F150 5.4 4x4 scab 200,000 miles
Just wondering what I should expect and/or keep an eye on. Seems to be a good running truck!

 

A 97 w/200K. You can expect to be kidnapped by a sexy alien. In the mean time, just keep up w/maintenance, they can go much further.

 

Thanks for the reply, I thought I had heard something about head gasket problems and was curious if this was something that would have shown itself already! I realize it has 200,000 miles and anything is possible.

 

Just maintenance properly and you'll never have to worry about head gaskets, they don't wear out in these engines. Plenty get abused and fail though.
