What shocks to get
I am in need of new shocks. I have a 2004 heritage the is torsion bar leveled. Not cracked all the way. I just turned the bolts I did not replace the keys. Do I need to but longer shocks for the front or the stock replacement? I have done some research that says yes and some that says not because turning the torsion bars does not change the ride height. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

So far I'm happy with my 4600's and 5100's.

You don't have to get longer shocks, the stock sized ones have enough travel in them for the amount of lift you got. I put Pro Comp ES9000's on mine and love them

I've had the KYB Monomax on mine 98' for 10 years now and they still ride like new. Everyone comments on how nice and comfortable the ride is in my 98' F150 SC 4x4. best shocks I'ever owned. I take them hunting all over the woods, trails, snow. They're fantastic. If they ever were out I'll be getting a second set. They do have a lifetime warrantee I believe.
