What usually goes wrong with the 1999 four wheel drive f150s I've had fords all my life but this is the first time I'm thinking about buying a f150.I just want to get a little inside info on them. Also how do you reset the dash board. When they put the engine back in they some how got the dash off so when you put it in park it shows that your in reverse. It's only one off and I can live with it I was just wondering how hard it would be to fix

 

Follow the instrctions to remove the cluster and you can remove the gear indicator and set it correctly, it just snaps in and out of the bottom of the cluster

 

Theres a dial under the steering wheel to adjust the shift indicator.
