i have a 2000 f150 and yesterday the power cable from the battery to the starter selanoid broke so i am wondering what gauge wire this is? i found a battery to starter cable at canadian tire and it says the wire is a 4 gauge. will this be ok to use? i'm gonna run a complete new wire from the battery to the starter instead of joining the cable. so... do u thing 4 gauge cable is heavy enough?
