Default What efans will work?

Hey all

Going to the junkyard tomorrow to pick something up. Thought I would look into an efan as well.

Anyone have any suggestions for what make model and year cars would have a fan I could rip out? I have heard Taurus doing a lot of searches. What years? Newer the better? Or does it not really matter as long as its a dual?

An other suggestions greatly appreciated.

The Taurus is not a dual fan. It's off the older years like 94s and around there with the 3.8 engine. I opted for a dual 2 speed fan that goes on a 96 ford windstar. It covers most of the rad and don't need to be modified much, but I'm still waiting for my controller. Here is my fan

If I may ask what controller did you buy and where?

Looks like its in good shape too.

Yeah I have two Taurus fans on mine right now just hooked up to a switch that I flip everytime I turn on the truck. But only one is hooked up to run at a time. I was running both and it was drawing too many amps and burning my relay's.

Well for some people, including me, that's 2-300$ I can put in other stuff. Some people like the name brand, which is fine. I prefer more toys for my budget.

nice thing about the kits is you know they work though.
