What does this button do

03 King Ranch....

On the RADIO there is a button thats called "COMP" what does it do? I've pressed it, held it down, tapped it, etc...nothing happens...

Its short for "compression" or something like that, its for when your listening to CDs, its supposed to clean up the sound a little bit.
