Default What do you guys think? Plastidip or no plastidip

I was bored this morning and was wondering what the front chrome strip on the bumper would look like in black. I hate chrome. So it was worth a try. Had the plastidip laying around from an old project, so $0 spent and about 30 min of my time.

with: (yes still a bit of overspray I need to wipe off)

without: (pic before the black billet grille)

What say you?

A picture more accurately comparing them, because the pic without, is a damn good pic of the truck, where the lighting sucks on the one with plastidip lol

Haha I love this thing no way! lol

I wish it wasn't a king ranch, because then I wouldn't mind taping the top half of the truck off and rhinolining the bottom and bumpers like I did my ranger. But I feel like I'd be ruining the KR look if I did that.

Not sure, kinda torn. I mean, the chrome goes with it, but I like the black too. Not too much black to where it looks like a work truck ya know? Idk, I'll wait and see what others have to say.

I dont like it, chrome looks better IMO. Plasti-dip kind of makes it look cheap.

It don't look right to me. Looks better with chrome. Nice truck though. Maybe paint the chrome same color as the lower valance and bumper pad. Paint over Plasti dip and if dont like it can still peel it off. Just my .02.

I normally don't say this, but I like it.

Matches your grill.

If you don't want the chrome it would be worth looking into white. That would look good. But the chrome does look better than the black.
