Default What a difference...

I have been wanting to do plugs, air filter, and a fuel filter for sometime now...

I paid a friend of mine whom is a mechanic to do the plugs for me. Only because I didn't have the extensions, pliers, etc. to do them. He charged me $80.00 and did my plugs, air/fuel filter, as well as cleaned out the throttle body. It was nice too because I BS'ed with him as I watched him change each and every plug.

I put in Autolite Iridium and paid $5.69 each. My air filter was $16.89 and the fuel filter was $8.19. I bought this all at Napa and only bought the Napa Gold stuff.

My plugs were decent. The air filter was junk. The fuel filter as so clogged that you could barely blow in it.

This was all discounted with my mechanics account. Had I paid full price, I would have spent at least $145.00. I got it all said and done with for $155.00.

Truck runs great! Feels more responsive and the fuel gauge didn't drop near as fast. I am interested to calculate the first tank of fuel since.
