and when u say U joints you mean the Universal joints right??

Like $20 a piece. Just did the ones on my Highboy. It's not super hard, if you don't have press you can do them with a C-clamp

Yup, there pretty easy.. I did mine on the ground with a socket and a hammer to pound them out

I gotta replace U joints on my 89 sometime. It sounds like I'm about to drop the shaft at times. I get a 'clunk' about halfway through 1st gear

You guys don't think it will hurt anything to leave the U joints squeaking for now. I graduate from school on the 18 so I really don't have time to do it. Plus my brother is coming into town that week and he good with that type of stuff.
