My truck threw a code for P0401 (Insufficient EGR Flow) right after I got it and after I reset it it seemed to have gone away until this past weekend. It popped up again and I figured I'd start doing some troubleshooting. After verifying functionality of the DPFE, checking to make sure the passages in the intake weren't plugged, I found the culprit! It was a hole in one of the vacuum lines. Maybe this is why my gas mileage has been crap...

Next weekend, the truck will be getting a new radio. I won an auction for an Alpine CDE-133BT. Hello bluetooth audio streaming...

I was gonna try to fix my miss today so I let it warm up and started unplugging cops and the truck started to overheat before I could finish

That's what I did when I had my misfire, but it takes a long *** time. Also it can be hard to judge how many cylinders are misfiring. Save yourself the time, and drive it to Advanced Auto Parts. They'll scan it for free and tell you what cylinder etc.
